A Series of Unfortunate Events - S02 - (2018)
City and architectural matte paintings for two episodes (2/3).
Created a simple 3D city backdrop, used as cards in projections over many shots. Needed to fit Art Deco theme, slightly surreal.
Set extension of main building. Had to design a logical architectural facade to tie in with the set. Used over several shots.
Street scene completely constructed from individual elements. Not much set reference for perspective or depth made it difficult.
Complete extension background, needed to work closely with 3D department to project because of camera move.
